England are saying they aim to win to go top of the group, but they have to say that. Many believe they're far better off finishing 2nd and facing an easier fixture in L16. Personally I don't think it makes much difference, if group F teams are as good as feared you have to face them eventually. By avoiding them for as long as possible instils negativity and lowers confidence in the players for when they eventually do meet them IMO. But nobody really knows what they'll be thinking, there's equal cases to be made for a low intensity overly defensive draw, or a confidence building 90mins full of flare players and goals. SG will probably rotate quite a bit, bringing in Maguire and Henderson for at least 60 mins and using all sub options. Tipping for goals or shots therefore is a minefield.

Scotland vs Croatia
This will be the one to watch, if you're not religious about watching England play. It's a must win for Scotland if they want to qualify. They're actually yet to score this competition and another draw will do them no good.

Croatia also need to win, with plenty of goals if possible. So it's poised really nicely for neither team being able to sit back and relax.

Despite the Scot's optimism and the uplift they got from holding England to a draw at Wembley, I think they're going out tonight. Croatia have not had a good run so far, but they have a lot of experience in the squad that will find ways past Scotland and record their first win. I just can't see the likes of Modric and Perrisic going out with a whimper.

Scotland are also now without Gilmour, arguably their best player and will lose even more creativity in front of goal. So:

- Croatia to win
- Over 2.5 yellow cards

Best of luck and fuck off
