I had a remap which removed the torque limit on my ST. My gearbox died about a year after.

Please tell me how many times in your life you've done a 0-60 sprint...

I might do it once or twice a year.

Conversely, I drive fast every single day. I enjoy doing it. Fast driving doesn't use first gear... Even the tightest corners are taken in second and above 4krpm.

The 0-60 metric is bullshit; it has no real world application.

If removing the torque limit wasn't beneficial to performance, nobody would bother doing it.
